Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), provided the final Secretary of the Navy Guest Lecture (SGL) of 2024 during a visit to the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) campus, Dec. 10. Paparo focused his presentation on critical security challenges facing the Indo-Pacific region, and highlighted the critical role NPS plays in developing military leaders and warfighting solutions.
An NPS graduate, Paparo’s visit to NPS included updates on relevant research efforts from faculty, students and campus leaders on priority research efforts supporting INDOPACOM priorities and the unique needs of the Indo-Pacific region.
