Traditional vulnerability management, rooted in practices developed over the past thirty years, has proven insufficient for today’s fast-evolving threat landscape. What began as a patch-and-remediate approach has become a complex data problem, requiring real-time analysis and contextualization across vast digital environments.
While advanced data platforms have improved detection and aggregation, adversaries are now leveraging AI to identify and exploit exposures faster than human teams can respond. This shift demands a new model: Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). CTEM offers an intelligence-driven framework for continuously assessing and mitigating risk across the attack surface. Central to this evolution is the integration of agentic systems that enable AI-powered, autonomous workflows that manage the full security lifecycle, from discovery to remediation.
