How to Install a Bigsby on a Fender Telecaster or G&L Bluesboy

Описание: This is a video I have been wanting to make and share for a while now. It details exactly how I installed the Bigsby USA B5 on both my Fender Telecaster and my G&L Tribute Bluesboy.

A few things I forgot to mention in the video: the G&L T style guitars are NOT the same size as a fender telecaster. The body is shorter so the vibrate adapter will hang off the end about 1/2 inch. You need to collect enough washers to fill in that gap to install it. It was not an issue for me. I played the guitar regularly with a strap like this for a year.

I also forgot to mention - the particular vibramate I had to buy for the Fender Tele HH was this model... V5-Teas-ST. In order to mod this for a direct drill on installation... I had to angle grinder off the back of the vibramate plate. It's probably worth talking about in another video. If you happen to own this type of fender telecaster that comes from the factory in HH set up AND you are willing to drill the guitar. I would recommend skipping the vibramate entirely and just getting a "Callahan American standard hard tail bridge for Bigsby".
