Performance of 'And the band played Waltzing Matilda' at the tribute to the Clancy Brothers show (which was part of the Clancy Brothers Music and Arts Festival) in the Strand Theatre, Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, Ireland in 2014.
Vocals by Liam Butler accompanied by Dónal Clancy.
The Song was originally written by Eric Bogle in 1971 and is about a young Australian Soldier recounting his involvement in the Battle of Gallipoli in the First World War.
Liam Clancy (Father of Dónal) had a number one hit in Ireland with his cover of the song in 1976.
