In a week where we’ve seen major high street retailers write to the Chancellor to explain the impact the Employers’ National Insurance Contribution changes will have, and the publishing of the Winter Fuel Payment Impact Analysis that showed 100,000 pensioners will be pushed into poverty as a result, the fallout from Rachel Reeves’s budget is yet to disappear.
From Chris’s interruption so he could land his pre-rehearsed Labour soundbites, it’s clear that’s all Labour have to offer in response to criticism of their budget.
