The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at multiple locations across Kerala, including the residences linked to former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family, in connection with the alleged CMRL-Exalogic pay-off case. The raids came hours after the Kerala High Court allowed the ED to proceed with its money laundering investigation into allegations that Exalogic Solutions received monthly retainers from CMRL between 2017 and 2021 without allegedly providing substantial services. ED officials, accompanied by Central Industrial Security Force personnel, carried out searches at 12 locations across the state.
