Welcome good Tarnished! From the frozen cliffs of the Giants’ Gravepost to the blood-soaked madness of Mohgwyn’s Palace, this episode takes us on one of the most chaotic journeys yet.

We begin in the Giants’ Gravepost area, facing off against a host of overgrown enemies. We discover the lonely Church of Repose, where a legendary invader, Bloody Finger Okina, challenges us in a deadly duel. Okina’s madness and bloodlust coupled with his use of the Rivers of Blood Katana, set the tone for what’s to come. From there, we head toward the Foot of the Forge, where the sheer scale of the enemies feels almost unfair—massive crows, huge dogs and trolls lurking around every corner.

As we near the main boss of the area, we decide to pivot and head underground to the Mohgwyn Palace area. We travel through the Dynasty Mausoleum, where the twisted disciples of the Lord of Blood worship alongside crimson creeks. We face none other than White Mask Varre, the first Tarnished we ever met—now revealed as a servant of Mohg. His invasion is poetic in its cruelty, a full-circle moment tying our earliest steps in Limgrave to the depths of this corrupted dynasty. Honestly it serves him right for calling us maidenless. Its not even what he said, it's more how he said it. That patronizing, condescending tone - maaaidenlessss. Ar$ehole

At last, we reach the Mausoleum Midpoint, where the blood priests chant their hymns, and deeper still, the throne of Mohg, Lord of Blood himself. The fight is a spectacle of fire, blood, and madness—a battle for the ages. But after four or five grueling attempts, we make the reluctant choice to withdraw and regroup. Sometimes, even the bravest Tarnished must admit defeat… at least for now.

In the shadows of Miquella’s cocoon, we leave the realm of blood behind—vowing to return stronger and ready to face Mohg once and for all.
