Описание: A newly retired couple in their late 60's recently suffers the loss of the wife's younger sister to cancer. The couple has withdrawn from their family & friends - and one another. The wife initially tried distracting herself with trips to the casino with friends, but she started playing the slots too heavily and ultimately she goes alone spending less and less time with her family friends, even feigning illness to be left alone to play. Her friends try intervening (unsuccessfully) and her daughter starts to realize something is very wrong too. The husband complains about never having enough food in the house, 'doesn't understand where all the money goes - but doesn't really want to know the reason why either. When the daughter tried to engage her father to help, father and daughter square off in an argument and she soon realizes she needs to enlist the help of her brother. The brother arrives and ultimately appeals to his mom's broken heart in an emotional finale and ultimately suggests she calls the NY State HOPEline to get help while also mentioning that there are support groups for the entire family. In the end, the family rallies around her in support of her decision to move past her disorder and reclaim her life.
