Welcome to another After Effects Tutorial of Graphic Design Tutorials series. In this After Effects Tutorial I am going to show you How to play video inside Text using Track Matte in After Effects CC and Make Animation.

After creating a composition, we will import our video inside the after effects. After that we move our video to slider panel. Then we will type our text above the video layer using text tool. Now our text layer on the top and video layer is on the bottom. Select video layer and choose first Alpha Matte option. That’s it. Our video is now visible inside the text. Next we will duplicate our video layer and put it at bottom of the all layers.

Now our text is not visible because of none of any effect on the text and video layer. So we will select our First/Top video and apply Auto Color Correction effect. Increase the value of Black Clip and White Clip in Auto Color Effect will visible our Text. After that Select your Text Layer and give it animation on scale property as shown in the video. That’s it.
