Imagine wanting to do a PhD in the UK for years and then being offered a spot in the perfect PhD program in London. Sounds like a dream, right? It certainly was a dream come true for me. But even though I'd been accepted into the program, I felt that doing a PhD wasn't a good fit for me anymore.
