This is a pretty big find! This was kinda on accident, kinda because I was trying to find a spot where I could destroy two of the blocks with one grenade. The great part about this is that lining the throws up is quite easy. For both throws, you simply back all the way into a corner, use Leon's hair to line up the throw before aiming, then aim all the way up.
This cuts the number of hand grenades needed in a minimum shots fired run down by 1, which is VERY nice. Otherwise, every single non-random hand grenade before U3 is needed just to progress (e.g. to free Ashley, lower the drawbridge, hit the crates in 2-1, etc.). This gives us a surplus grenade, which I'm almost certain I'm going to use on the swarm of Novistadors that spawn as you approach one of the switches in the 4-2 Novi cave.
