Oh man, referencing things I said in the lost stage 1 video that I didn't say in the re-recorded stage 1 video! Also, I meant to say the horizontal component of the diagonal speed at 3:23, not of the vertical speed.
My goal for a real Lunatic run is usually to get through stage 2 without losing any lives and, if I can help it, with at least one bomb left. I plan bombs for Venomous Moth and the non-spell right after it. As long as I don't waste any being careless or getting ambushed on the stage, I'll usually also use one for one of Mystia's last two spells just to avoid burning both remaining bombs on a potential Last Spell if I mess up, though I'm getting better enough at those that I might stop doing that.
The trick on "Ill Starred Dive" is actually a bit trickier than it looks, but once you get the timing down it is definitely easier than trying to dodge everything normally.
