Outside Beech Grove High School, a line of flags were displayed during a visitation for fallen Beech Grove police officer Brian Elliott.
Elliott was tragically killed in a shooting while responding to a domestic disturbance call on Monday, Feb. 16, not far from the school.
Mayor James Coffman talked about what it was like to swear Brian Elliot in and how he exemplifies what it means to serve and protect.
