The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. The game was released on the Nintendo Wii on November 19, 2006, and GameCube on December 11, 2006. The game was originally planned to be released on GameCube but was delayed to be a launch game for the Wii. It has been on the Wii, GameCube, and Wii U since then and has sold around 10.02 million as of December 2022.

In Twilight Princess, players explore the land of Hyrule as the main character Link as he goes on a quest to save Hyrule. Players can travel via wolf form or using their trust steed, Epona. As the game progresses, Link gains allies in the form of Midna, an imp creature who has a mysterious past and possibly other motives. Link uses many tools in his kit, including: hookshots, lanturn, iron boots, bow, bombs, and more. As players explore Hyrule and learn how the land got to where it is, they learn more about the history and what evil lurks in the shadows.
