A great vintage Stratocaster transcends genres with its versatility, tone, and feel. Case in point with this "slab board" beauty - a 1960 Fender Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst finish. This early '60 features amazing sounding original pickups and weighs in just under 7.5lbs - it's supremely resonant and one of the best examples of an early 60s Strat we've come across.
We were very fortunate to have Boston-based guitarist come in and show off the stellar tones of this guitar. Ahren's plugged into a @ZVEXeffects Box Of Rock overdrive for some light dynamic gain and a @sourceaudioeffects Ventris Dual Reverb for authentic spring reverb effect. He's plugged into an all-original 1962 @fender Concert amplifier as well. Audio is recorded via a @UniversalAudio Volt 476 using a Samar Audio VL37A active ribbon microphone.
