This is my take on Luiza by Antonio Carlos Jobim, arranged by the great Brazilian guitarist Paulino Nogueira. As far as I know, there’s no other video performance of this version out there, just an old audio recording. It’s a straightforward arrangement, but still a bit tricky in spots. The challenge is all in the phrasing and emotion. Such a beautiful, expressive Brazilian guitar piece with Jobim’s signature harmony and subtle movement.
