2020's Wonder Woman 1984 reunites Gal Gadot and Chris Pine to do the same stuff as in the original movie, and yet based on the general consensus not to as great results. It's tough to call this a box office flop because they put it on HBO Max but the response didn't appear too great. And as was the case with 2017's Wonder Woman, this seems to be another case of one choice that destroyed a movie -- this time with the filmmakers' wish to go all in on fun, basically making this Fortnite: The Movie. This doesn't inspire too much of confidence for the rest of the "new" DCEU... guess we'll know with The Snyder Cut of Justice League and The Flash movie.
