The KMGV chamber choir is a small group of singers among the almost 150 singers of the Cologne Male Voice Choir (KMGV) – an ensemble perfectly suited to sing intimate pieces.
In a special church recording, our choir performed Mendelssohn’s "Beati Mortui" without any instrumental accompaniment, embracing the profound acoustics of the sacred space. The chamber choir feels fortunate and honored to present this timeless and deeply moving work of spiritual music. "Beati Mortui," composed by Felix Mendelssohn, is part of our sacred repertoire.
