This video shows how I achieved a dark cherry colour on my natural hair using Manic Panic vegan hair dye in Vampire's Kiss and Fuschia Shock.

DISCLAIMER: Be aware that some people can potentially have an allergic reaction to hair dyes, please do a strand test first!

I found the dye very easy to use, and VERY pigmented. It doesn't have a strong smell whatsoever, and has a creamy, easy to handle consistency. And it conditions your hair! Oh, did I forget to say that it adds shine? I was not expecting all these results but I was pleasantly surprised.

I also love the colour, I didn't want to lift my hair colour, I wanted to simply deposit colour onto my hair, which is not damaging to my hair at all. That's why I went for a semi-permanent hair colour instead of permanent.

Steps taken:

1) Clarify hair - that is, use a shampoo with sulphates! (I used a shampoo laying around in my bathroom, Pantene Smooth and Sleek Shampoo) but you can use any one that you like.

2) Apply dye to hair, cover with plastic cap and let sit for 30 mins.

3) Rinse with cool/cold water, away from face and body

4) Style as you wish!
