Описание: at long last, my restaurant week at pinky swear is here! located in the lower east side, pinky swear is a bar, restaurant, gallery space and more where apparently "everything is a work of art, even for your tastebuds"! unfortunately i have to disagree, bc their food service was a hot mess. it should have been a sign when i only discovered pinky swear for their drinks...

available tues to thurs from 5-8pm and fri and sat from 5-7pm, pinky power hour (happy hour) is the only thing going for them with $10 cocktails, $9 wines, $6 beers and small bites for $10 or less. the drinks were alright but that's when things went down hill. before we embarked on the restaurant week experience, we ordered blue crab doughnuts off the happy hour menu and they never came. the appetizers that did come were interesting... tuna crudo topped with crudely cut cucumbers... baked oysters with shells not cleaned properly (lots of loose shells and sand).

moving onto the mains, lemon bucatini was lots of lamb pancetta but very little noodles... a burger with a fun cheese whiz twist but did not pair well with patty... and fries that were underflavored. and despite not even being halfway through our mains, our desserts were served. considering one of them was an ice cream sundae it made zero sense to have it sit at the table and melt next to us. taste wise the sesame gelato was far from gelato, and more like granita, super icy. a really odd texture that felt like we were eating sesame paste more than dessert. as for the smores, uninspiring.

overall, cool interiors and a good happy hour deal but i recommended going elsewhere for food.
