The Driven Broaching Toolholder allows the machining of internal and external gears, as well as keyways, directly on the standard turret lathe, without the need for dedicated additional machines, with remarkable time and cost saving.
Thanks to the oversized guides, the new device can perform broaching machining with the maximum rigidity and precision.
The same insert holder can be used for internal as well as external broaching and the toolholder is compatible with commercial insert cutting tools.
The unit tool is automatically lifted during backward stroke, in order to assure the best tool life and can be equipped with a micro adjustment system .
Presented as world premiere on the Emo 2023, the Driven Broaching Toolholder is the new solution for the machining of gears and keyways on the CNC lathe!
