We mourn the passing of our dear Sr. Tarsicia Chandy CJ, who was called to her eternal reward after a long and dedicated life in the service of God and humanity. She spent 68 years in religious life, offering herself wholeheartedly to her vocation with devotion, humility, and unwavering faith.
During these many years of service, Sr. Tarsicia worked in several missions and communities, including Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), St. Mary’s Convent, Nainital, and Jeolikote in Nainital district, where she lovingly served the underprivileged for nearly 25 years. Her life was a beautiful witness of compassion, perseverance, and quiet dedication.
Sr. Tarsicia was known for her spirit of hard work, her gentle concern for others, and her steadfast commitment to the mission entrusted to her. Serving God and humanity for such a long time requires immense courage, faith, and dedication, and she lived these values faithfully throughout her life.
As we remember her with gratitude, we thank God for the gift of her long and meaningful service. Her life remains an inspiration to all who knew her.
