Celebrating full-time van life with a pub stopover at The Smugglers Inn, Blue Anchor near Watchet.

Описание: We did it, we are now officially full time van life in our 2007 Auto-Trail Tracker motorhome! This was one of those decisions that we made some time ago but it took a totally unrelated issue that finally “forced” us to do it and we couldn’t be happier.

I’m sure lots of you reading this will be of the same opinion that life is here to be enjoyed and if you have a desire to travel, be less reliant on static living with all that comes with it, van life is certainly a great option to escape to a more off grid lifestyle. Yes it comes with restrictions, new hacks to learn and living in a small box is definitely not for everyone but, Malish and I are so comfortable in each others company that it is a choice rather than a situation we have been unable to avoid. We also want to dispel any thoughts that living in an older motorhome is not possible as claimed by some other YouTube bloggers and their fancy 6 month old gin palaces on wheels.

So, be prepared for lots more community posts on YouTube, updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages and of course, video blogs covering our travels, places we stay and the constant search for fresh water!

This week we visited The Smugglers Inn at Blue Anchor near Watchet in Somerset. Offering a large parking area just a stones throw from the beach which is dog friendly too. Discover if this pub stopover makes the grade and is worth the narrow country lanes to get there.
