Our Only Date - 24 Hour Film Festival submission

This is one of our entries in the 2024 24 Hour Film Festival, hosted by Lawrence High School. Each filmmaking team was tasked with creating a short film of 3 minutes or less within 24 hours. This is a tremendous opportunity each year to showcase student creativity, teamwork, technical skills, problem solving and time management - all skills that future employers look for in their employees. Each film was tasked with addressing the following prompt:

"The worst thing to happen is getting exactly what you want."

The films this year also had to include three props (water bottle, mirror and leaves on the ground), a required camera angle (worm's eye view, an extreme low angle with the camera pointing straight up), a required line of dialog ("Haven't we met before?") and a sound effect (offscreen door slam).
