If you are looking for Cuban crafts, paintings this is a central place to go. Plan at least one hour to walk through, as it is big. Lots of artwork. Make sure it is signed and if you are buying they give you a signed paper with it. Many are just prints you will see everything. Prices are negotiable. Other items are basically the same at all vendors and they make sure they are all selling at the same price.You will see many of these items all over Cuba, but prices at the market were pretty good- so don't search around. If you see it, get it. This is a central place to buy souvenirs.
However, buy cigars at a reputable place outside of this market.
. You can walk around Old Havana from there before or after. Market opens at 10am.
