Easy, Juicy Ribeye Steak on The Beefer

We know there are many ways to cook a delicious steak and we wanted to
share one of our favorites. This method is quick and easy and we hope you enjoy it!
Before the cook, we recommend bringing your steak up to room temperature.
Preheat The Beefer for at least 5 minutes to ensure the unit comes up to 1500°.
Place your steak on a cool grilling grate and insert into The Beefer.
(Make sure you place a gastro tray at the bottom of the unit to collect the drippings)
Sear the steak for 1 minute and 15 seconds.*
Flip the steak over, sear for another minute and 15 seconds.*
Now it’s time to rest the steak. Remove the steak, place it into a gastro tray then place it on top of The Beefer for at least 8 minutes.*
The steak will continue to cook with the residual heat of the unit.
While the steak is resting, prepare the basting butter.
Place half a stick of your preferred butter (2 oz) into a gastro tray. (you can mix in the steak drippings for added flavor)
Mince 2 garlic cloves into the gastro tray.
Season with a dash of sea salt (to taste).
Place the tray in front of The Beefer to melt the butter.
Reinsert the steak into The Beefer after the 8 minute rest.
Sear the steak for 1 minute and 15 seconds.*
Flip the steak over, sear for another minute and 15 seconds.*
Once you remove the steak, it’s time to baste it with the butter mixture.
“Stick a Spork in it….. it’s done!”
Time to eat!!!
