Balochistan’s highways unsafe; 415 lost their lives and 30,066 hurt in 2025
In Balochistan, during the year 2025, traffic accidents claimed more lives than terrorism, with official statistics highlighting a growing public safety crisis. Over the past year, a total of 24,482 traffic accidents were recorded on the province’s seven national highways and the M-8 Motorway, resulting in 415 deaths and 30,066 injuries.
