Mijia Smart Audio Glasses look like regular glasses but incorporate dual speakers and quad microphones. This means they can be used like a pair of wireless earbuds with some additional smart features.
They feature touch-sensitive areas on the temples, which allow you to adjust playback, volume, access your device’s voice assistant or manage calls. Xiaomi also added real-time recording for calls and meetings, which is accessible via a press-and-hold gesture on the temple. You also get wind noise reduction and privacy mode, which aims to minimize sound leakage.
They come in three designs – Brownline (€179), Pilot-Style (€179) and Titanium (€199), with all versions sporting IP54 ingress protection. The titanium option is the lightest of the bunch, weighing in at just over 27 grams (not including the lenses), while the temples on all three are 5mm thick. They pair over Bluetooth 5.4 and support dual-device connectivity.
Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are equipped with dual 114 mAh batteries (one in each temple), which Xiaomi claims can last up to 13 hours of continuous listening on a single charge and up to 9 hours of call time. When you do need to recharge, you can do so via the proprietary magnetic charger, which attaches to the temples and ends in a USB-C adapter.
