The comedian and entertainer Robb Wilton dressed as a tramp stands next to a park bench wearing a shabby bowler hat and jacket. On the bench is a woman down-and-out rapped up in blankets. Wilton takes pity on the poor soul he says "one half of the world doesn't know how the other half lives." Wilton sits down on the Bench next to the woman and starts to eat a large sandwich and then says "it's the poor that help the poor !" Wilton stands up and puts the sandwich back in his pocket. He then pulls a his last sixpence. He looks at poor woman then says "I'd be in a right mess if I lost that." The woman stands up and trudges wearily away. Rob Wilton then performs a monologue about his wife he married in 1899. He says repeatedly "If you ever meet me' missus don't breathe into her soul."
