Описание: #11 Zanesville earned a hard fought victory against 28th ranked Olentangy Orange 57-49. Both teams started off slow but the Blue Devil seniors would step up big to take the game from the pioneers. After a 7-7 first quarter, Zanesville would open the second quarter on a 7-0 run and senior Malik Bocook would close the half with a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer to take a 24-23 lead at half. Senior Spenser Hardwick had 10 points in the game including a 3 at the end of the third to push the Blue Devils lead to 39-34. Orange tried to fight back, getting as close as 44-42 in the fourth but could not stop the Zanesville offense. Bocook had a team high 20 pts. and 12 rebounds and Ramon Wilson added 16 points and 3 steals. Zanesville advances to play Licking Heights on Thursday.
