Описание: The present safety environment in India has put the state security apparatus under great stress. The police population ratio in India is also very low. With proper regulation, private security agencies can act as a force multiplier. Police and private security partnership models can be used to reduce the burden on the state governments. There needs to be a policy decision by the Govt. as to how the Private Security Sector (PSS) can provide the essential baseline services.
