In this episode, we wake up at 4:30 AM to catch the magical sunrise at Moraine Lake. Since personal vehicles are no longer allowed, we booked the Moraine Lake Sunrise Shuttle from Banff — and it was absolutely worth it.
We hike the Rockpile in complete darkness, watch the lake slowly reveal its turquoise glow, and paddle across the water in a canoe. Even though clouds covered the peaks on our first visit, the mood was unforgettable. So we returned again — and witnessed the most stunning golden sunrise over the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
