This is an early color graphics demonstration program for the Apple II computer. The first buyers of an Apple II computer supposedly received this on one of the included tapes (b/w "Color Math").
I couldn't find this tape online, not even on Antoine Vignau's excellent Brutal Deluxe Software website. The Integer BASIC source code of the program is, however, included in the preliminary Apple II Mini Manual that shipped with the system before the final Reference Manual was completed.
I used MAME's Apple II emulation to type in the program's source code myself, directly into Integer BASIC, and then saved it back to a cassette audio file. After fixing some typos from the original Mini Manual printout, it mostly worked. The only things I couldn't get to work are the two demos requiring the paddle. Although the paddle emulation works and I can get the values from PDL(0), the demos don't do anything. Maybe there's another typo in there, but I haven't dug into the code to check yet.
I'll provide the WAVE file download on my website soon so you can try it out without the typing.
MAME is configured with the basic apple2 driver and original ROM, 8K of RAM (the program doesn't fit into 4K despite the title screen claiming otherwise), no expansion slots used, paddles connected to the game I/O port, and NTSC processing enabled.
