This trip we’re chasing that “wild and free” feeling on South Australia’s eyer peninsula - from 4x4 mountain tops and giant white sand dunes to one of the rugged, most beautiful clifftop beach camps we’ve ever stayed at.

Over a few days we:
• Tackle coastal and inland 4x4 tracks with huge views from mountain ridge tops & from sand dunes right down to the great southern ocean.
• Thread our way along a tight, scrubby track that turns into a real “YEAH NAH” moment and forces a careful turnaround
• Take on soft sand and big dunes on the Wanna-Sleaford track, picking lines and reading the epic coastal beach tracks
• Set up off‑grid in Port Lincoln National Park overlooking the calm waters of Spalding Cove, Boston Bay.
• Return to a wild clifftop spot we first found years ago - still rugged, still quiet, still seriously spectacular
• Slow right down with rockpools, swims and those simple off‑grid caravan days we love
