This week on the homestead, life continues forward. We spend time with our ducks and introduce you to Hopper, a little duckling learning to live on one leg after an injury. ♡
One of our hens hatches out some new adorable chicks after devoting the last three weeks to sitting. ♡
Dad and son work together to set up a new irrigation tank, bringing water from the stream to hydrate our garden, orchard, and animals—a small but meaningful shift toward more self-sufficiency and health. ♡
Our wild barred owl friend returns, perching nearby long enough for us to watch it catch and eat a snake. ♡
We hope that sharing some of these precious memories from our Wild and True Homestead brings some peace to you. ♡
