A few tweaks we made (for the DIY-ers out there)
You might notice in the video that we made a couple of changes. Joolca has really good customer service and their system is great as-is. BUT, if you run into issues and are a DIY-er, here's what we did:

1) Pump - our original Joolca pump stopped working and it was unclear why. Joolca sent us a replacement but we decided instead to replace the pump with a highly rated aftermarket pump. It did require some work (and soldering) to connect the new pump to a switch and a cigarette plug lighter. We don't necessarily recommend going this route for most users.

2) Faucet Fix - the Joolca's smart design shuts off the water heater and pump when the faucet's closed, keeping the unit itself powered 'on' but saving energy by not having the system running. BUT, a leaky faucet tricked our system into turning the heater and pump unnecessarily. We swapped it for a ball valve to fix the issue and prevent wasted water/fuel.

Again, Joolca's customer service is excellent, and their portable water heaters are top-notch. So, we generally recommend using their system as-is. However, if you encounter specific problems and are comfortable making modifications, feel free to explore solutions (just remember to check your warranty first!).
