Follow along with Todd as we install these electric running boards onto a Gen 2 Ford F-150 Raptor. You can follow along with this How To if you have a standard F-150, as they’re similar applications.

This is a medium difficulty installation requiring the following tools:

½” Wrench

10, 11, 13mm Ratcheting Wrench

½” Socket and Ratchet

4mm and 3/16” Allen Wrench

Wire strippers

Utility knife

Tape Measure



AMP Running boards automatically deploy when you open the doors on your truck and retract when they close. The Power Step XL steps make getting in and out of your lifted truck even easier with up to 15” of total drop, which is 3” lower than the original Power Step.
