Minnesota's O'Shaughnessy Distilling Co. Master Distiller Brian Nation and founder Patrick O'Shaughnessy were in Ireland this week to officially launch Keeper's Heart Whiskey and we took the opportunity to catch up with them in the middle of a hectic week full of interviews, tastings and account visits that the duo were undertaking.
In the comfortable surroundings of The Shelbourne Bar in Cork, in the middle of Cork Whiskey Fest, I asked Brian about settling into a new life in the U.S. after his shock departure from the Midleton Distillery for his new role opening O'Shaughnessy Distilling in Minneapolis.
I also got some worrying answers as to how our very own Stories & Sips Whiskey Club Cask is doing at the distillery!
There was even a song at the end! The interview was great craic and the two lads were in top form!
