IsoMorph is a brand name of polycaprolactone, a biodegradable, non-toxic plastic that melts around 140 degrees Fahrenheit. When melted to that temperature, it can be molded and shaped like silly putty or clay, but then hardens at room temperature, and can be sanded, drilled, reshaped, etc.
This stuff is awesome, in general - but for my purposes, I want to make a thumb-ring out of it so I can make a mold, then cast rings out of acrylic! This shouldn't be too hard, so let's get started!
