► Van Vihar National Park Manali :-
Van Vihar National Park is small park located in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Van Vihar Manali is a small forest located on the banks of the Beas river on National Highway 21 just opposite to Tibetan Market of Manali. It is also called as Nature Park Manali. Basically it is a municipal garden where you can enter by paying a nominal charges.
This forest type park is adorned by beautiful and tall Deodar and pine trees. It is a good place to spend some time with friends, family and loved ones. It is very near to famous Mall Road of Manali. Distance from Mall road is just 500 Meter. Distance from Van Vihar Manali to Government bus stop is just under 700 Metre. Few minutes of walk is sufficient from Mall road to reach here.

Beas River of Manali is flowing to adjacent of the Van Vihar National Park and you can see the flowing river from the boundary of the forest. Whole forest is covered with a boundary wall to restrict tourist to go into the banks of the river. A small man made lake is also present in the park where paddle boating is available by paying boating charges. Many swings and rides are also installed in the park and these can be used free of cost. Kids as well as adults will surely love these rides.
Nature lovers will surely love green, quite and peaceful environment of the Van Vihar National Park. Many local vendors are present in the park which are luring customers for photo shoot in traditional dress of Manali. You can also clicked a picture of yourself with Fluffy Rabbits of Manali. You have to pay the nominal charges for both photo shoots. Vendors generally ask 20 Rs for clicking pictures with the rabbits. This forest is good place for nature photography and photography enthusiast will love this place.

► Facilities and Information :-
Washroom and drinking water facility is available in the park free of cost. Bottled water, wafers, etc can be bough from the vendors inside the Van Vihar. Multiple benches are also installed in the park where visitors can sit and feel the cool breeze.
If you left your hotel at 12 in the noon at usual check out time and you want to kill some time until your bus departure time, then it is a perfect place to spend some time due to its close proximity to Government Bus Stand of Manali. Van Vihar is an unique type of park with wonderful views with combination of river, mountains and beautiful birds.
