Farmhouse DIY Toilet Paper Holder

Описание: I loved a toilet paper holder so much, I decided to make it! Shipping prices were way too high to justify purchasing, so I made a copycat. This project uses leather and woodworking skills to make a blended Scandinavian/farmhouse style hand towel holder and TP holder.

3/4" oak dowel for TP holder
1" oak dowel for towel holder

Items needed for project, but we already owned:
Drill with 1/8" and 1/4" drill bits
Finishing nail
Hammer
Sharp scissors to cut leather to length
Wood varnish/poly to seal wood (optional)
Sandpaper (220 grit)
You could use a handsaw to cut the wood pieces, but I'd recommend using a softer wood in place of the oak to make things easier. Otherwise, the following power tools and setup makes things easier if you have the equipment.
Miter saw to cut to length
Table saw
Scrap wood and cross-cut sled for making a jig for more difficult cuts
