In Tulsa for Isla’s "Okie" Supersized Oklahoma State Meal Challenge w/ 11 Menu Items!!

A few weeks after getting home from my food challenge trip to Salt Lake City, Utah and Idaho, I started an eating challenge tour with ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ around Arkansas, parts of Missouri, and Oklahoma!! I attempted eleven (11) huge and delicious man vs food challenges. For restaurant eating challenge #9 of eleven, we headed to Isla's Southern Kitchen in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma so we could each attempt Isla's "Okie" Supersized Oklahoma State Meal Challenge!! Believe it or not, Oklahoma is the only state that has an official "state meal," and Isla's giant "Okie" Food Challenge is basically a supersized version of that, which features all eleven (11) foods that are part of the "Oklahoma State Meal." Straight from the menu... "Did you know that Oklahoma is the only state with an official state meal?! We’ve taken all the ingredients on the state meal and made it our own. Two chicken fried steaks, sausage gravy, buttermilk biscuits with strawberry jam & honey butter, cornbread muffins, our famous squash casserole, fried okra, cheesy grits topped with BBQ pulled pork, black-eyed pea & corn succotash, and a pecan pie. It’s perfect for two to share! TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE: Clear the plate in under 46 minutes all by yourself and the $67 meal’s on the house, plus get bragging rights and your photo taken and shared with our Golden Pie Wielding Driller!
