This weekend I have decided to bring you on a walk I have been meaning to redo for about 10 years
I started from the national trust carpark at Aberglaslyn pass, after a short walk over the hill I joined the path that follows the river, I followed this up the river, the first section was very uneven and required quite a bit of climbing over the rocks but it was great fun, the second section joined the circular path from Beddgelert, this was a lot easier although not as interesting, after a brief stop for tea and cakes, I returned back on the other side of the river completing the circular section, I then retraced my steps on the first section of the walk.
The walk is just under 3 miles, although the first section is challenging it is worth it, and made a nice change for my weekend.
If you are planning on doing this walk make sure you have suitable footwear, it is also good to have someone else with you as mobile service is unreliable in this area should you need assistance.
