I have not been idle recently, I decided it was time to add some interest to my layout. I have a heap of Piko track laying around, so I decided to put some of it to use, along with some Hornby 3rd radius curves. I have run quite a few of my larger locos around it, and so far, so good. No derailments, but speed limits are now in force. I still have a couple of problem children to test, so the track is only tacked to allow for adjustments. The state of the old steel track was terrible, the rust is really eating into the lines.
Edit: the locos is a class 50, i seem to have Class 47 stuck in my brain. Sorry to those who were confused, the years are creeping up on me.
