.Islamabad: A good number of women and children gathered at F9 Park on Sunday to celebrate ‘Pushtoon Culture Day’. Islamabad, Soormiyun Cultural and Development Organization (SCDO), hosted a vibrant Pashtoon Cultural Day event on Sunday 23rd September, at F9 Park in Islamabad. A good number of women and children from diverse cultural background gathered to celebrate the colorful traditions of the Pashtoon culture to embrace the richness of Pakistan’s cultural diversity. In this event, participants embraced the cultural heritage by wearing different traditional attire that reflected the beautiful mosaic of ethnicities and cultures that coexist within the country. The aim of the event was to foster an atmosphere solidarity and prosperity in Pakistan.The founder of Soormiyun Cultural and Development Organization, Gulnaz Sheikh, shared that “This celebration is a message of hope for a prosperous and united Pakistan. We as women leading organization are not only celebrating diverse cultures but also the spirit of inclusion and respect for all cultures at national level. We aim to create more spaces like this for all, regardless of their ethnic background, where all people can come together and express their cultural pride.
