The Karnataka Government launched the Yuva Nidhi Scheme in Karnataka to benefit the unemployed young. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to the educated unemployed youth in the state.

Yuva Nidhi Scheme Karnataka 2023
The Yuva Nidhi Scheme in Karnataka will provide economic security to the youth in the state. The educated unemployed youth will get monthly financial assistance to help them support their families. This scheme aims to give unemployment benefits to educated youth so they do not depend on anyone for their financial needs.

The eligible beneficiaries will receive monthly assistance in their bank accounts directly via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT). They will benefit from this scheme until they find a job or two years, whichever is earlier. 

Yuva Nidhi Scheme Assistance Amount
Under the Yuva Nidhi Scheme, the government will provide the following amount to unemployed youth of Karnataka state who have passed their degree or diploma course in 2022-23:

Rs.3,000 per month to unemployed graduates
Rs.1,500 per month for diploma pass-outs
The government will give this amount after six months of the youths passing out and being unemployed. However, it will not provide the amount after two years or as soon as the youths get a job within two years.

Yuva Nidhi Scheme eligibility
The applicants must be Karnataka residents.
The applicants must have passed their degree or diploma in the academic year 2022-2023. 
The applicants must not have a job six months after completing their degrees or diploma.
The benefits of this scheme will not be given to the youths who are already getting benefits from similar schemes or programmes.
The applicants who have enrolled for their higher education, those getting apprentice salaries, and those working in the private or government sector are not eligible.
Self-employed youths who have taken loans under the state and central schemes or banks are not eligible.
The Aadhaar must be linked to the applicant’s bank account to benefit from this scheme.
Yuva Nidhi Scheme registration
The eligible applicants must register on the Seva Sindhu website to benefit from the Yuva Nidhi Scheme. They can apply for the scheme online or offline. However, the government has not yet released the forms for registration. It is expected that the government will soon announce the registration process commencement date.

Yuva Nidhi Scheme apply online
The online application process will be as follows:

Visit the Seva Sindhu Guarantee Schemes Portal.
Click on the ‘Yuva Nidhi Yojana’ option.
Click on the ‘Click here to apply’ option.
Fill out the application and upload the required documents. 
Click the ‘Submit’ button. You will receive the acknowledgement number.
