RECIPE:
Green Goddess Salad

Ingredients
For Salad:
4 cups spinach
1–2 cups pea shoots
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup almonds, crushed or chopped
1 avocado, cut into chunks
For Dressing:
1/2 jalapeño pepper
2/3 cup Greek yogurt
Juice from 1 lime
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup packed cilantro
2 scallions

Instructions
1.Puree all the dressing ingredients together, adding the cilantro last and stopping when the texture feels right to you.
2.Toss the salad ingredients together with dressing; serve immediately.


Green Smoothie

Ingredients
1 cup frozen fruit (banana, mixed berries, tropical mix)
1 cup of spinach or kale
1/2 – 1 cup almond milk
1/2 tablespoon ground seeds (flax, chia, etc.)

Instructions
1.Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. We recommend starting with 1/2 cup of milk and going up from there depending on how thick you like your smoothies.

She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 14 to star in the Disney Channel franchise, Even Stevens as Ren Stevens alongside Shia LaBeouf. Christy enjoyed many years with Disney gaining an Emmy nomination for her voice work as Kim Possible and starring on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast. She went on to balance her college career at Barnard College, Columbia University with filming movies for ABC Family including: ‘Campus Confidential’, ‘Taking Five’, ‘The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold’, and ‘The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream’. Christy returned to Broadway in her mid twenties and learned to be a puppeteer in the Tony-Award winning ‘Avenue Q’. Christy was married to her husband on New Years Eve , 2013 in Banff, Canada after having met in a screenwriting class in college. She became impassioned with directing and made her debut in Lionsgate’s “Christmas All Over Again”.
