Japanese Short Rows

Описание: Learn to do the Japanese method of short rows with designer, Holli Yeoh. Japanese short rows can be used to replace the more common wrap and turn method for a neater appearance because the stitches at the turning point are not wrapped. This method uses a smaller loop of yarn to help close up the gap created by turning and working in the other direction.

The video shows how to close the gap on the knit side. To close the gap on the purl side, work up to the gap (this means you've worked past the stitch marker, plus one more stitch), insert right needle into next st purlwise (but don't purl it, yet), grasp marker and gently pull it to create a loop, place loop onto right needle, then purl both the strand and stitch together.
