I tried really hard to match the lyrics. I cut the song so it'd only be lyrics that were easier to match. I did vary the perspectives/points of view (POVs) - it might be Burt for "I" and Kurt for the "you" one line, then the next line Kurt is the one being the "I" and the "you" is his dad. Hopefully it's always clear who's who.

I volunteered to enter 7thxheavenxx's and lbchatterbox's reverse request contest and this idea out of the few that they each gave me really inspired me the most. I've always loved this song but never really thought it would work for a non-romantic relationship. But when Sara suggested it for a parent/child type video and I listened to the lyrics again I realized I could totally make it work and I liked the challenge of trying to vid Burt & Kurt for the first time.

They don't have that many super viddable scenes so I used the majority of their moments, there were a few more angsty moments between them that I didn't manage to get in here because this song made me think more "We're there for each other" and some of the scenes just didn't quite work as well... idk. I got most in here though I think.

Please let me know what you think! I super rushed through this vid making most of it last night when I should have been sleeping. I was totally about to go to bed and then I noticed this project I'd started and realized I'd 100% forgotten I was making it and went back to being really inspired and adding stuff to the timeline... whatever I ended up deciding to just not sleep enough again and I'd take a nap after my classes today. I thought it'd be worth it to try to finish this video then. I didn't ever test render it so I couldn't catch any glitches or anything and I don't want to re-render it, so this here is what it is. The coloring is what I used for the "Ache" collab I hosted on luvtheheaven5 for TheClash413. ;) I really love this coloring of mine, I hope you all don't mind if I keep using it for songs with moods like this. I feel like it fits.
