Welcome to our charming waterfront rustic log cabin in beautiful Trent Lakes, a peaceful four-season escape designed for comfort, space, and classic cottage character. The moment you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the warm scent of cedar, a true sign you’ve arrived at the lake. Set on a quiet and serene stretch of Buckhorn Lake, this cozy cottage offers the perfect balance of relaxation and fun for all ages.

Enjoy a small private beach with shallow water entry, ideal for kids to swim and play. Spend your days kayaking or paddle boarding, then gather in the evenings around the campfire (firewood included). If you are bringing a boat or planning to rent one, a boat launch is conveniently located right next door.

This four-season cottage is equipped with heating and air conditioning, making it comfortable year-round, including warm summer days and cooler shoulder seasons.

Inside, the open-concept main level features a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, and a cozy living space complete with an electric fireplace and TV, perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The bonus basement is a guest favourite and offers another electric fireplace, TV, a 9-foot pool table, and plenty of games and puzzles for rainy days or cozy nights in.

Step outside to enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, cook meals on the BBQ, dine at the picnic table, or enjoy lawn games with family and friends.

️ Bedroom Layout & Themes

The main cottage includes three uniquely themed bedrooms. The property is licensed and approved for a maximum of four (4) occupants, who may choose from any of the three bedrooms available. This flexible layout allows guests to enjoy extra space while remaining fully compliant with Trent Lakes short-term rental regulations.

The Bear Room
A cozy, rustic retreat inspired by classic cottage country, featuring warm tones and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day on the lake.

The Fishing Room
Bright and playful with a lakeside fishing theme that captures the spirit of time spent on the water. Ideal for guests who enjoy a cheerful, relaxed space.

The Moose Room
A spacious and tranquil bedroom with a timeless moose theme reflecting the natural beauty of the Kawarthas. Calm, comfortable, and full of cottage charm.

Important Note: While the cottage contains three bedrooms, overnight accommodation is limited to four registered guests total, in accordance with municipal licensing.

Bonus Bunkie

The property also includes a separate bunkie, offered as a bonus recreational space for daytime use, ideal for games, quiet time, or simply spreading out during your stay.
